A knit & felt pattern. Two designs for a woolly sheep.
This pattern includes directions for knitting and felting a sheep in two positions: standing and grazing. The standing sheep has its head in the air and turned slightly to the right. It measures after felting about 4-1/2 inches wide by 5-1/2 to 6 inches high. The grazing sheep has its head lowered to the ground. This sheep measures after felting about 6-1/2 inches wide by 4-1/2 inches high. The pattern uses worsted weight yarn and size 10-1/2 needles.
Knitting with alpaca yarns, or carrying along a fine strand of mohair, create soft, fluffy sheep. And don't forget the black sheep, every herd has one!
