A knit and felt design. Marie Mayhew's Woolly Birds pattern. Come and knit and felt a woolly bird to look like either a robin, or a cardinal or a chickadee! The felted birds measure about 4.5-inches tall. The class is intermediate level, and the use of double point needles is helpful. Requirements are that you need to know how to knit. This is not a needle felting course, but needle felting will be taught for most embellishing detailing.

Birds-of-a-Feather Pincushion, a knit and felt pincushion of the month. May is the time for many backyard birds to begin building their nests. This little bird perched atop a spool, is doing just that! The felted pincushion measures about 5-inches tall, from the spool's base to the top of the bird's tail. Once felted and stuffed, both the spool and the bird are embellished, adding whimsical detailing using simple needle felting. A quick and easy project for the quilting enthusiast in your life!

Harvest Pumpkin. A knit & felt vegetable class. Come learn to knit and felt a 4-inch pumpkin. First class you will begin knitting your pumpkin and learn the basics of machine felting. Second class, you will come with your pumpkin knit, felted and stuffed, ready for assembly. We will make leaves, create furrow lines and beaded vines. You will leave with a completed pumpkin ready for gift giving!

Need to know how to knit. Knowledge of double point needles is necessary. No previous felting experience required.
