Knit and felt a life-size nest using earthy color yarns and raffia or a whimsical nest using bright colors and exotic novelty yarns and ribbons. Fill each nest with speckled or even polka dotted eggs. Have fun thinking like a bird. The skies the limit!
Skill Level: Intermediate, requires double point needle experience
Materials: (NEST) one skein 100% wool worsted weight yarn, one skein 100% wool sport weight yarn, several yards of ribbon, raffia, string, novelty yarns and whatever else you want to add to your nest, size 13 double point needles, size 13 circular needles. (EGGS) one skein blue 100% wool sport weight yarn, size 8 double point needles.
